I've just been looking at the Yarnstorm blog. Jane says she knits socks inside out, that is with the knit side in. How else would you do it? Genuine question, I just can't see how any other way would work.

If you hold the sock so the working needles are closest to you, instead of knitting across the sock, it'll come out right side out.

Well, if you're happy with it then you might as well carry on that way! I like to try my socks on as I knit them, so it would annoy me, but each to their own!
