Not very pleased with...
Jul. 28th, 2006 04:51 pm...Angel Yarns. I ordered something from them, paying from funds in my Paypal account. A couple of days later, they said the item was out of stock and would be despatched when available. A few days after that, I was told they would not restock with this item. I said I would have a refund. They said my card would be refunded 'at the end of the week' (five days). I pointed out that the money was not taken off my card but had no reply. I still have not been notified that there has been a refund. So someone somewhere has had my money for two weeks while I've got nothing.

Date: 2006-07-28 04:46 pm (UTC)I've never actually bought anything from them, I just visit their forum, so I can't give any actual experiences. I couldn't work out how much the postage would be the time I tried to order something from them, so I gave up and went elsewhere.
Kangaroo are usually okay (apart from their little hiccup with my bag) and they were offering free postage. Celticove were doing free postage too.
They do have a phone number, but it's only 10 - 5, Mon - Fri. Try ringing them on Monday? They can easily do a paypal refund, as I'm sure you know - it's just a case of logging on and pressing a button or two.
If the worst comes to the worst, complain to paypal.
What are you trying to buy? (said Helen, being nosy....)

Date: 2006-07-28 06:43 pm (UTC)Exactly! I pointed out to them that they could do an immediate refund. I've been checking my account but no sign. Extra annoying because like you, I don't withdraw unless there's at least £50.00 in there. If I don't hear anything by Monday I will phone them.
It was Opal sock yarn I wanted.
