Am I the only person who hates hates hates the new selling form, which will soon be mandatory? I've already filled in their questionnaire saying I find it extremely difficult to use.
I have just been trying to list a couple of items which I only want to post to the UK. The old 'Post to UK only' option has disappeared. So I deleted all countries but kept getting red messages about filling in correct details. Tried help: useless. In the end I gave up, almost in tears. When I feel better I shall list them using the old form while I still can.

Have you tried Turbo Lister? I've been using it for years, it's so much easier than listing online. As I've built up my database, it saves me even more time, as I've often already got a copy of the book I'm listing, and can just edit it. Or copy a similar book and edit that.

And now there's a facility to synchronise your ebay listings and edit current listings offline, which seems to be fab so far.

People slate TL on the ebay boards, but I've never had a problem with it.

No, I've always been frightened of Turbo Lister. I was irritated recently to get a message saying, 'you sre still using the old Turbo Lister sytem, time to change', when I had never used it. I may have to give it a go as I have heaps to list and I just can't get on with this new form: the tiny windows, the constant questions. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Don't be frightened of it! It's really easy to use - most of the information is put in on one screen, apart from the description builder if you use it. I have a template in word which I use for my descriptions, so I just copy and paste into the box on the main page.

You need to set up various automatic bits of text - your payment instructions for example, and buyer requirements, but these then automatically appear on all listings unless you change them. And you can save postage amounts so that if, for example, you're listing a stack of paperbacks, you don't need to put in the postage each time.

You can also set up folders to organise your listings for further use, with subfolders as necessary.

Thank you, that's good advice. I use Word for descriptions, too. Much easier and you can use them again if you relist.

Heigh ho, I'll give it a go. It's maddening when you're used to doing a thing quickly to have to learn all over again.

Jon uses Turbo Lister, too. Good luck!

Thank you! I don't feel like learning new things, that's the trouble.

I love the way you've turned your new postcard into an icon!
