Thanks to Channel 4 showing *live cricket*, I was able to see Joe Root get a century in his hundredth Test. It was a joy to watch. So unfortunate that Sibley, playing so well, was out at the last minute. India are a better side than Sri Lanka, so I wasn’t expecting such a good day.
Talksport had the rights to ball by ball commentary for this match but after much fiddling with the radio, I could only find people droning on about football. Any advice?

Yes, I was up early to watch, terrific stuff and so pleased for Root and his classy 100 and sad for Sibley. Dunno about Talksport, is Channel 5 live sport not doing commentary?

I'm glad you were able to enjoy it, too. I did hope Sibley would get his 100.

I don't understand about the readio. Yesterday, the BBC cricket page definitely said, no TMS but it's on Talksport. Nothing beats TMS anyway! Shame that the amusing live blog had 'techical problems' for a lot of the morning and was unavailable. I enjoy the 'sharing' feeling and some of the comments are really funny.
