The way I would crosspost is to write the post here on DW, crosspost it then go to LJ to add any pictures if LJ hosts them. If they are hosted here on DW or flickr, for instance, they should crosspost okay. I don't know if this is how you usually do it. It seems like LJ is refusing crossposts :(

That is what I do. I find it removes paragraph breaks and then sometimes, if I add pictures on LJ, they disappear later.

I've had emails from both Dreamwidth and LJ about security breaches but nothing about what would seem a simple problem, like this.

It's odd about what you say about paragraph breaks as I had a problem a few days ago at LJ when I was trying to comment. I refreshed the page and it righted itself. Perhaps a coincidence...or not?

I dispensed with LJ the hacking was the final straw. I left an anonymous comment there though.
