The flower opened today on the plant you can’t see much of because the other is going crazy. I’ve no idea what the flowering plant is, unfortunately.

Could it be Leopard's Bane (Doronicum orientale).
Is that a real budgie?

I don't think Doronicum, as that's quite a clumpy herbaceous perennial. I wish I knew what it is!

Oh well done, thank you! That is definitely it. I had actually written down 'Delosperma?' but I didn't find such a clear picture as that.
I do like to know what I'm growing. I should never have put those two plants in the same pot.
