In the garden: Small Copper?

Pottering around the garden, I noticed this single, tiny butterfly enjoying the flowers of Verbena bonariensis It’s bright orange and I think it’s a Small Copper.

I think you are right! How lovely :) We have had loads of cabbage whites and a few tortoiseshell on the buddleia.

Oh, good. The colour is too washed out in the photo; the contrast between the orange butterfly and the purple flowers was very striking.

I've seen a lot of cabbage whites this year, but few others. Plenty of bees but far fewer butterflies than usual.
