A person who wears furry boots indoors all winter needs her bedsocks, so when I saw some baby yarn in a charity shop I had just the project in mind for it. I used a larger needle than usual and instead of ribbing made a picot hem. Now to knit the second one.

I may have to commission some of these for the Ugg booted earwig. What size needle did you use? The picot is very pretty.

I used UK size 10 needles with 4 ply yarn. It made for quicker knitting and a looser sock. It would be completely plain without that edge. Functional, though.
