Nature Watch: rabbits

At this very moment there are SIX baby rabbits disporting themselves in front of the tool shed. They only come out in the evening and if they're startled they all jump under the shed.

Should I give up gardening and just declare the place a wildlife sanctuary?

Lol! I have what look to be a mother rabbit and one baby who have been visiting lately. Our garden borders a creek, so we have all manner of wildlife wandering through.

I was up at five this morning after being awake most of the night stressing over the Referendum results :-( There was one baby bunny out there, the one I've named Bonkers. I don't really want rabbits in the garden, however cute they are!

I'd love to take photos but can't get near unless I lie in wait for ages, which I'm not prepared to do. If the zoom on my camera weren't useless, I could take photos from the house. I wish you could see them jumping about. I think they're clearing that top bed of everything except foxgloves :-(

I watched them for ages because they are so unbelievably cute. But I worry about them living under my shed and I don't want them laying waste to my garden.
