It rather reminds me of the wonderful wall sculpture in Ely Cathedral, "The Way Of Life". I suppose for anyone being an avid book reader it is a way of life :)

That 'Way of Life' reminds me of 'I said to the man etc. etc.' I saw the second half of the programme about royal Christmas broadcasts yesterday and found myself in tears hearing George VI reading it, knowing how hard it was for him.
