Garden news: June posy
Jun. 2nd, 2014 10:07 am
Picked this morning. The variegate weigela isn’t mine. Part of it is poking through the front fence from next door; I had no compunction about snipping some off.
It’s amazing the difference that one warm day can make to the garden. Yesterday, Sisyrinchium striatum, Campanula persicifolia and various hardy geraniums all opened their flowers for the first time.

The ‘best’ foxglove I posted about recently is now taller than I am and easily the most splendid thing in the garden.
