Happy Easter

I’m pleased with these. Last year the garden centre was selling pots of tulips or daffodils very cheaply, so I bought a pot with tulip snouts just showing. They flowered well, then I moved the pot beside the greenhouse. I did nothing to them at all except to remove the dead foliage, so they were outside through all the deluges, snow and frost we’ve had. And here they are flowering again, apparently thriving on neglect.

Happy Easter. Wondering whether to go to the egg rolling at Avebury this afternoon. Lovely sun today.

Our tulips are just poking their leaves through! Just wood anemones and dwarf daffodils out at the moment.

Your tulips are the same as the ones I have that are flowering in the front of the rockery. Shows how hardy they are!

Happy Easter! Good book haul on last post. Spotted A Fugue in Time by Rumer Godden in second-hand book shop so I think I'll get it rather than the Virago re-issue.
