Haydn's creation popped up as I logged on ... my goodness, this takes me back to when I was in the local choral society (100 strong) and sang this, along with other oratoria. It's one of my favourites! Years ago there was a Radio 4 link up between various choral societies around the country - one was in Pershore, I recall - and they started together and then sang their way through it, some leapt ahead, some fell behind, but it was great fun! So sorry to hear about your wrist! Don't bother to answer this, just wanted to send you my good wishes, but what a way to start 2013 (or end 2012!) I also love the Shepherds' Farewell, so it didn't matter that I got The Heavens are Telling instead! All quite glorious!
