Frightening, isn't it? However, I've used the same amount every year for five years - it's the rate that keeps going up, and it's a communal gas tank, so I can't switch suppliers

Yesterday evening was so ghastly, with all the wind and rain, I drew the curtains at 7.30 and pretended it wasn't summer at all. Much better today!
