Heya. The pattern's Nakiska from knitty.com: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter03/PATTnakiska.html I've been making them in RYC DK, bought throughout the year when the odd ball's been on sale. I've got heaps of dark pink, lilac, navy, black still to use if you want them... I'm happy to stick a ball in the post. You can get two of the head bands out of one ball. I found that the pattern doesn't have quite enough repeats to be comfy, so I continued on a little, and it's ever so easy (I now know the thing off by heart. But then I knitted 8 or 9 this christmas, with several others previously!). Circular needle a must. ~x~
Thank you! That looks just the ticket. Kind offer of yarn but I think I've got plenty that will be suitable. Lovely idea to knit them as presents, I'm sure they were really appreciated.
