Amazon update

Amazon sent me an email apologising for the missing package and said they would contact Parcelnet and see what had happened. Very late this afternoon it was delivered i.e. thrown on the doorstep by someone who rang the bell and ran away. Coincidence? Now I wait to see whether they will refund my delivery charge.

I'd be almost tempted to say that it hadn't arrived at all - after all, anyone could have pinched it from your doorstep. But I probably wouldn't.

When they delivered my Palm (about £200), it was left on my doorstep in a huge box, in full view of the road. I complained, and they said that they were happy with their delivery people (Parcelfarce this time, I think) and that if anything didn't arrive, they would replace it. So yah boo sucks to me.

I'd definitely keep on at them. Just don't reply to any emails they send direct.
