Cheese footballs, that is. I ask you, how can you have Christmas without cheese footballs? But none of the shops I use regularly seem to have them this year. Anyone seen any?

No cheese footballs for Christmas!? Then I'm not coming!
I'm pretty sure I saw some in Sainsbury's; will keep an eye out.

Sainsbury's eh? Tesco, Waitrose, the Co-op and Somerfield are all lacking. They seem to have drums of Bitesize instead.

Bitesize what? Shredded Wheat? Perhaps dredging with icing sugar would festive 'em up a bit.

You'll be lucky. Those little square cheesy biscuits is what they mean.

You can stop panicking now - milord Sainsbury has indeed come up trumps in the cheesy spheroidal snack department.
In related tidings, supplies have also been secured of that other vital festive comestible, pickled walnuts. Break forth, O beauteous heavenly light!
