Yes, Ambridge cricket failing to be as interesting as the real life game, sadly. But aren't Sunday episodes always dull? When they first started I theorised that the writers didn't want to advance the plot on a Sunday because many listeners would miss that day's episode. Or perhaps it just reflects real life.

Ed sounded more like himself this evening, at least his voice did. The language didn't sound like him at all. Scriptwriter error, there.
