Not Knitting

callmemadamFor a while now I've found it really hard to knit, which is a shame when it's supposed to be so good for you. I made this scarf
and a camera case forhuskyteer which I forgot to photograph but I've had one and a half socks in my knitting bag for ages and no desire to finish them.
I'm not getting any inspiration from elswhere, either. The last issue of The Knitter was full of boho styles you'd expect me to like but although the clothes might be fun to knit they all looked lumpy and hard to wear. I shan't be renewing my subscription as buying the summer issues is a waste of money; I don't need umpteen patterns for sleeveless sweaters. There's about two days in an English summer I could wear such a thing and then I'd go for a cotton dress.
A couple of days ago I started to think of winter and Christmas and started something I actually want to get on with. But it's sekrit.
