Has anyone else noticed that PM with Eddie Mair is turning into Home Truths? And is it just me, or is he really far too pleased with himself these days?

It's been irritating me for weeks now. All that talk about 'PM listeners' as though we were some happy community rather than just people wanting to catch some news. Talk about dumbiing down.
I've just switched off The Now Show too :-( I used to love it.
