In the Bleak Midwinter

Mid-morning and still an iron frost, which is very unusual for us. Blackbirds are enjoying the fallen apples outside and they're very welcome to them. I can't take a decent photo but you get the idea.



Heigh ho. Back to packing and cleaning.

Had drive out in New Forest was similar frost (even at 1pm) and gorgeous colours in the sunshine. Good luck with the packing and clearing up!

The top of our road is a real frost pocket. Fine 20 metres further along.
