What has the BBC got against Little Dorrit? It started on a Sunday evening, then was moved to two bitty weekday evening slots. I'm glued to it but I've overheard people saying they couldn't follow it, lost interest and so on and I'm sure this was due to the scheduling. This evening I was looking forward to sitting down with my knitting and watching the recording, only to find that it had been replaced by an hour-long programme about the Karen Matthews case. Why? It's hardly World War III! This was such a late decision that even my digi recorder wasn't up to speed. I'm spitting mad and quite unreasonably disappointed but I suppose I'm in a minority. Grump.

That bodes ill as I haven't started watching it yet. I shall have to check that it's all there before I start - last year we got utterly hooked on Studio 60 and the digibox ate two episodes.

It's simply maddening. I hope you get all the episodes.

I'm loving it too. So many wonderful performances. Am watching it entirely on iplayer, however, as I can't keep track of when it's meant to be on "live." Really though I can't wait to see it on DVD so I can make the breaks when they suit me.

Ditto! I'm fuming as well... Apparently only Scotland will get to see episode 12 (at 8:30 tonight). Those of us on Freeview have to wait until Sunday for the catch-up broadcast. They haven't even placed it on iPlayer.

You are not alone, I'm on the net searching for details of the rescheduling of last nights episode though I suppose that I will only be left to watch sundays omnibus. I love the story and struggled to read the book but they have spoilt it by dividing it up into half hour slots. I need a shot of at least an hour each time and I am an avid period drama fan.

I would also have preferred one hour episodes; I just get drawn in and it's over. I've complained to the BBC and am about to post their answer with new scheduling.

Don't just moan. Complain to the BBC and point out to them that on their website they were still urging us 'not to miss Little Dorrit' when they had already pulled the plug.

You might be in a minority but I too feel the same. Extremely disappointed to say the least.

We are the not so silent minority.

I'm right with you. What on earth are the BBC schedulers playing at?

Ignoring the viewers, as usual. Do you ever listen to Feedback, on Radio 4? The patronising, we know best, response to listeners' justifiable complaints makes you seethe.
