A Christmas present finished! Apart from the little bag I'm making to put the socks in; I'm very bored with it. Regia Design Line Kaffe Fassett yarn, called Caribbean. I love the colour but I'm not impressed with the pattern effect. Can't model them as I've made them bigger than I would for myself.

Now I really like the pattern effect - I have a ball of the variagated KF yarn and have put off using it because the ones I've seen have been much more random, you get the effect of the colours with yours.

I've still got my Min yarn, same make, different colour and I'm looking forward to using it now.

I'm with you - lovely colour but I have been disappointed by my last 3 sock knits turning out to have that kind of camouflage effect rather than stripes. I like my socks stripy!

Yes, I like self striping. The Opal Planete ones I made are probably my faves.
