This brings back memories for me Barbara. I used to sew little girl dresses in similar style. It used to be economical with sale bits of liberty fabric, but even if I had a little girl now I wonder how much the pattern, plus material, plus thread etc would come to? Quilting now appeals more, but have horrid feeling it would take oodles of space and be another way to spend loads of money as I'd probably want really nice fabric (knowing me!). Mentally waved at you this afternoon as had lunch out at Plumber Manor and drove home via the Avenue and Banbury Rings!
I'm amazed by the things I had the patience to do: bound collars, proper buttonholes...That dress is in a lovely fabric and yes, I dread to think what it would cost now.
