Baby knitting update

Thank you for all the input on what to knit for a baby. Here's what I made:



It's knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, which is a lovely soft yarn to work with. When I was sewing it up (ugh!), with all the extra ends to work in because of the stripes, I thought it was maybe a little lumpy for baby wear. Cosy, though. Now I've nearly finished the matching hat.

That's lovely! I've done a couple of stripy cardis recently, so I can sympathize with the ends. I did them in one piece as much as humanly possible, but there were still too many....

I tried to pretend that weaving the ends away was realy embroidery...
