Oooh, I haven't listened to the Archers in years. Test Match Special and ISIHAC are my two must-listens - the News Quiz and Old Harry's Game also come close.

Did you hear the first installment of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency on Wednesday? I wasn't impressed. My husband thought it wasn't too bad.

Dirk Gently: I don't like the book and switched off the programme. That 6.30 spot is so full of dire programmes that aren't at all funny, most of them involving Armando Ianucci. I like The Now Show, Milton Jones, Ed Reardon, Claire in the Community: all the quirky ones.
