Yesterday evening, I cheered myself up by watching North by Northwest again. Was there ever a man who wore a suit better than Cary Grant? This suit certainly sees some action in the film. I'm having a Cary Grant-fest after watching Becoming Cary Grant last week. I think it's still available on iPlayer.

Hehe, I've watched a couple of his films since watching Becoming Cary Grant as well :) I can barely wait for it to be closer to Christmas so that I can watch my very favourite Christmas film - The Bishop's Wife starring a brilliant Cary Grant and David Niven.

I absolutely dote, which is odd as his are not the sort of looks I usually go for. I love The Bishop's Wife! My lucky daughter has been a regular attendee at the BFI (is that right?) Cary Grant season. There are advantages to living in London.

I'm the same about him, he oozes charm (I always went for slightly rough looking men, rugby players, blokes in uniform but with a brain and sense of humour).

Your lucky daughter indeed. I'd love to be a member of the BFI but alas it would be a waste of time with not living in London. I suppose there is always the BFI Player but I have enough subscriptions and don't watch half as much as I could as it is.

He does look incredibly dapper in a suit - though, a good suit works for most men. It's super suave

Apparently, the N by NW suit was specially made in Savile Row.
I like the early films where he wears a waistcoat as well!
