At the market

It was absolutely freezing at the market this morning, but see what I bought.
I love the outward facing flower which means you don’t have to turn it up to see its loveliness. It's far too cold to go out and plant it now, so it's living in the porch for the moment.



Before you all say, ‘Surely you have a copy of White Holiday?’ yes, I do.
I have a Children’s Press copy and this is the Seagull one. It’s so rare these days to find anything like this that I couldn’t leave it behind for 50p.

It's darned cold here today but the sun has come out and it's warmed up a little.

The plant is gorgeous, I love the delicate colour.

Coincidence that someone was selling hellebores this morning, after yesterday's Gardeners' World had a feature on them. The seller had some beauties but I fell for this one. I still don't fancy going out and digging a hole for it, lazy thing that I am.
