My goodness, the sky this morning! Looks like we’re in for another stormy day and in fact there is a gale warning out for the south west. Time to batten down the hatches.

Yes! It was still dark when I got up but drawing up the kitchen blind I saw that amazing sky and rushed upstairs to photograph it while it lasted.

Indeed! There are great flocks of birds flying about outside now, can't see what they are. I reckon it will be dark by four!

I would suggest moving to Lincolnshire (currently calm) but next stop Siberia for us.

I'm sure Lincolnshire has many charms, but Dorset is beautiful wherever you go And the rain in the summertime makes the wurzel trees grow.
