Date: 2012-03-10 10:27 am (UTC)We didn't buy comics regularly as children (although we had lots and lots of books) - but we did have the Girl and Eagle annuals at my grandparents' house, which we devoured every time we visited. They are still cherished (and the reprinted versions given as presents).
