This rogue foxglove has decided September is as good a month as any to flower. It's about two feet high.

Here's two bees making the most of it.

Beautiful. I think one of the best sounds in the world is the sound of a bee flying into a foxglove flower.

I didn't hear them! I love to watch them busying into the flower.

It's just lovely and it looks incredibly healthy, too!

Foxgloves are so nostalgic - they grew in a little clearing, near the chestnut trees, and I once tried to fit a few blossoms onto the paws of my cat's kittens

I love them and don't mind how much they seed themselves around. They're easy to move, too.
