Food for Free
Aug. 15th, 2006 04:49 pmOut this afternoon, I saw an elderly couple picking blackberries. Already? Better stock up on preserving sugar and vinegar as before I know it it will be time for apple jelly and pickled onions. I made rose hip jelly once but doubt if I could bother again. I still have a lot of suitable recipes, though, copied from Richard Mabey's book Food for Free. How very seventies.
