I haven't heard any of the Rob Brydon episodes yet, but I MUCH preferred Jack Dee to Stephen Fry. Though I would rather none of them, at the moment.

6.30pm has become a radio graveyard as far as I'm concerned. No wonder they keep plugging the slot and running trailers: we're swirching off!

None of them are Humph. This still makes me sad. I liked Fry best, for some reason Jack Dee irritated me hugely with his delivery.

I think we'd all prefer Humph:-(

I thought Jack Dee best kept the spirit of the show and I liked his tone towards the team. Some people just don't like Jack Dee!

For me, the moment that clinched it was when Graeme Garden had different words for One Song and Jack went into a rant about being chairman. Then the line about sheltered accommodation was icing on the cake.

I thought I would like Rob Brydon more than I did. I like him as a guest, but he was very bland as a chairman. Stephen Fry was just too knowing. I would like to see Jack Dee take over permanently.

Totally agree!

I have written to radio 4 to tell them so!

I think I'll have to get some of the taped episodes for a good dose of Humphness.

I don't really mind Jack Dee normally. It does make me wonder though what's going to happen to ISIHAC though if there's no really obvious chairman :(

I really liked Rob Brydon. With Stephen Fry, whatever he's on, it's always Stephen Fry and some other people. I'd hate to see ISIHAC get unbalanced like that.

I agree about Stephen Fry although I thought he gallantly toned himself down for the programme and spared us the moist floppy bits.

I found Rob Brydon's performance very lacklustre, although I've enjoyed his appearances as a panellist.

Yes! I felt the teams were happier (and funnier) with Jack Dee in the chair.

I just don't like Jack Dee's voice - it's so flat and boring!

I know you don't! His voice is part of his whole stage persona. I loved the computerised Mornington Crescent voice saying, 'Jack. Why the glum face.'

I see Fry has edged ahead in the poll.

I liked that bit too! I think that was the funniest episode so far. I like Stephen Fry on QI but not on this. It needs someone deadpan I think, and Jack Dee is certainly that. I don't know there's anyone who'd make it sound as effortless as Humph did though.

I would like to see Sean Lock have a go at being chairman!

I like all three as comedians, but I've no idea what ISIHAC is.

The long running, much loved radio show I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. The Humph everyone writes about is Humphrey Lyttelton, chairman from the first programme, who sadly died last year.

Hehe, you could have phrased the last poll answer "I'm sorry I haven't a clue what ISIHAC is".

I actually have two old episodes of ISIHAC on my iPod, how stupid of me not to have guessed. Judging from them I would agree that Jack Dee seems the best choice.
