PS to John Creasey post

I’ve just finished my free book, The Death Miser, which is the first book in the Department Z series. It was dreadful! If I’d read that one first, I’d never have tried another. A madman planning to take over the world, a drug unknown to science which, when taken in whisky, makes you deaf for five or six hours and much similar nonsense. Impossible to believe in Z as part of the Secret Service, yet A Kind of Prisoner had quite credible spooks. In fact, The Death Miser hardly qualifies as a spy story at all.
