What I am reading next

I had a piece of luck last week. Some vouchers arrived in the post which meant that I could replace my exploded shredder for nothing and have enough left over to buy these two books, which W H Smith are selling shrink wrapped together as a 2 for 1. A friend of mine has been recommending Patrick Gale to me for ages so I'll give him a try and let you know.
