Mega frost here this morning and fog but it soon cleared. I had lunch outside in the little suntrap by my kitchen door, thus living the fantasy I had before I moved in. Later it clouded over but walking up to the shop I heard the drone of lawnmowers and there were people sitting outside at the pub. Didn't see anyone 'sprig-muslin drest' but it felt like spring and the washing dried in no time. Now you see how easy it is to witter on like Nella Last; I will spare you the visitor, the Tory canvasser, the phone calls and what I ate (considerably less than Nella and her husband).

Pretty as a picture and can picture the sun-trap! Hope there's a chance for meeting M and me one evening over Easter weekend for a drink at the pub or a coffee at Costa? So nice to be thinking we can enjoy some spring sunshine!

There *are* deer, grazing in the next field, but I don't see them every day. They seem to live quite happily with the sheep.

I'm going to live with it for a while before deciding what to do. I have plans for a damp bed (sounds gross!) and have to stop myself buying plants for it before I've made the space.

Thank you. I moved in just before Christmas. There wasn't much to see then so yes, it's interesting to see what's coming up!
