No I haven't seen either. I can see why ET thought Celia Johnson wrong for the part, she made it clear that Mrs Palfrey was a large-boned woman, handsome rather than beautiful. I think that is the only book by her we have on the van, but I am sure the main library has others by her. I'd like to read more.
